Wow, Im surprised that this has happened. It really highlights the complacency the Singapore government has. They think they are so good that it's ok to have to have lax security at a high security detention centre....like hello! What does the word high security mean to you? This is a huge embarassment on the part of the police and the governement. Why has he not been caught yet? Is Singapore really that big? I doubt so. If he isnt found in like a month's time, I think it can be safely said that he has ran off to Indonesia or Malaysia.
Now, what I'm really thinking is why have some people not been sacked yet? Especially the guy who is the head of the Internal Security Department and Home Affairs (best not to name names). He is responsible for internal security and public safety. How can he let this happen, especially in a place Singapore? I know I would sack him and other people immedietly if I were PM and I think other countries would as well. It's also very interesting to see that only low-ranking ministers speak. Where are the big people like the PM, MM and SM? I'm sure they will have something to say too. Anyway, I better not saying more...I may get sued for this. I think it'll be very interesting to see how things develop. :)
