I've completely screwed up block tests 3. I hope I'll be able to do ok but I doubt so especially for Economics. I think I'll fail that one as well as Maths and perhaps scrape through for China Studies and get D for History. I shall start studying everyday once the results are out. I can't believe A Levels are only like 20 weeks away.
Anyway, went to watch a movie at Vivocity with Penny today. It's called 21 and to my wonderful surprise, it's a really good movie. I thought it'd be some Ocean's 11 thing but it's much better. My $8.50 was worth it! Hahahahaha. This show is about some guy called Ben who is this ultra smart guy who wants to get into Harvard Medical School but couldn't afford the $300,000 school fee + living cost. So what he did was that he and a few others gathered together with a teacher to master the game Blackjack. Apparently, there's a way to make lots of money without doing anything illegal. It's called counting and it involves probability and simple Mathematics. The group heads to Las Vegas, which in the movie appeard so glam, to earn big money through a series of signals to tell Ben what to do. In the end, a lot of drama happened and I'm just too lazy to type it all out lol. Just go watch it, it's great. I'm going to get the DVD! The show makes me want to do counting lol. Penny and I were discussing that once the casinos in Singapore open, we'd go there and try it lol. The game of Blackjack just got much more interesting!
A few of us are planning to go on a holiday once our A Levels are over too. There's about 5 to 6 people who are interested and currently, we're deciding over Hawaii, Australia, Korea, Japan or Taiwan. We're trying to keep a lookout for good deals since we're setting a budget to about $1500 per person. We're also planning to leave on the 22nd, 2 days after my last paper finish because I'll most probably have to go for NS in the 1st or 2nd week or June judging from the period the overweight people entered NS last year. Looking forward to the holiday a lot.
